Appearance: Despite being lanky and thin, Reno keeps himself in shape and it's hard to call him nonathletic. Due to his odd sleeping patterns, his meals come whenever he feels like it. His fiery red hair, messy and short on top, terminates in a long ponytail that reaches the middle of his back. Underneath crystalline blue eyes, over his cheekbones are identical reddish markings, slightly curved. He claims them to be scars, but it's apparent that they're only tattoos. His features are a little sharp, but not without their charm.

AU Personality: Reno can be described as playful, even immature at times, but when he's dead set on something, he usually follows it through no matter what. The problem is getting him interested in the first place. While somewhat curious, he longs for new things to do and places to go. He acts quite jokingly and familiar with people he knows well, but will be quite apathetic and uncaring around strangers or people he dislikes. Reno rarely goes to the trouble of actually hating someone, as he sees it as a waste of time and energy. Those that happen to be on his bad side usually don't even know about it until they fall victim to some terrible prank. He is left-handed.

Canon Personality: Cocky, self-assured, and lazy, Reno takes a somewhat apathetic, if not uncaring attitude about life. While obviously skilled, he takes pride in himself for his own actions, but it is rare that he will praise someone else for a job well done. He harbors a rather cynical distrust of most authority figures, but to call him rebellious wouldn't be correct -- He will follow orders without question, though not always with a happy disposition.

AU Backstory:After losing his parents at age 3, Reno spent much of his childhood in a one-room apartment with his grandmother and brother Axel; when he wasn't at home he was wandering the streets, playing with stray dogs and always finding another abandoned ruin to explore. His inquisitive nature was apparently not offset by any sense of clear-headedness or caution, and young Reno became a frequent visitor of the Havoc-Storn hospital for anything from scraped knees to dog bites to broken bones. As time went on, his life became more and more aimless; In his late teens, he would stay at home a lot more and wander a lot less, using the excuse that between his brother's drinking and his grandmother's illness, someone had to look after the house. In truth, Reno had realized that there were simply no more places left for him to find. After the boys' grandmother passed away, he decided that a change of scenery was in order, and moved three floors down into a place of his own.

Canon Backstory: A loyal, skilled member of The Turks, Reno didn't so much bear hatred for AVALANCHE as he was simply following orders. An orphan making his way in the world by picking pockets and winning street fighting tournaments, he was picked up by Verdot, who at the time was the leader of The Turks. Right away his skill as a fighter and interrogator was recognized, and he was partnered with Rude, mainly to balance out his rash, arrogant personality with Rude's level-headed approach.
